The Philosophy of Natural Medicine

The philosophy of natural medicine, nature-cure, is based around the premise that the health of a living organism is maintained by the elements of air, water and sunshine and by the observance of the eight healing forces of nature, and also that the human organism contains within it, as part of its life force, a miraculous power for self-healing. This can be readily witnessed in the healing of broken bones, the healing wounds and the body's ability to recover from illness and disease. If allowed to flourish in a natural environment in harmony with the laws of nature then good health will be bestowed upon all living things. The central core of the philosophy of natural medicine is that health can be maintained or re-built only through observance of the eight healing forces of nature. These are: Air, Water, Exercise, Sunshine and Light, Fasting, Sleep and Rest, Positivity, Food.
